US based non government organization "Give Clean Water" is currently in the country trying to carry out surveys in areas affected by Hurricane Tomas.
"Give Clean Water" provides and installs clean water filters in people's homes so no matter what type of water they have access to, the families always have clean water to drink.
Director, Paul Ibrahim said they have installed filters in a number of homes in Nadi and Ba and trying to move to other parts of Fiji.
Ibrahim said these filters are installed free of charge so that people have access to clean drinking water.
He also adds that a team will be in the country next month to meet with the government officials.
