It has been revealed that the United States government will not be able to block the Interim Prime Minister from going to New York next week since he has been invited by the United Nations to address the General Assembly.
Radio Australia reports that as the host of the UN Headquarters, the US has obligated itself to permit and facilitate travel to UN offices in the United Nations by heads of foreign governments and in the case of Bainimarama, the US makes no judgment about the person.
