The Foreign Affairs Minister for United Arab Emirates met with senior government executives on his visit to Fiji yesterday.

Sheik Abdulla Bin Zayed Al Nahyan is on his tour to the Pacific Islands.

He paid a courtesy call to President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau at Government House, visited his counterpart Fiji's foreign Affairs Minister, Ratu Inoke Kubuabola and Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum.

Sheik Abdulla said he is a strong supporter of the National 7s team and was honoured to be in the country.

Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum said Sheik Abdulla was a guest for Foreign Affairs.

No details of the meeting have been released.

Sheik Abdulla jetted out of the country and has also visited Nauru, Solomons, PNG and Tonga.

Meanwhile, Director Civil Aviation, Akuila Waradi said a Draft Air Services Agreement was drawn last year during talks in Istanbul and further consultations are needed between two countries before air services begin from Fiji to Dubai.
