If you are feeling feverish, have a headache or abdominal pain, have diarrhea and vomiting, then see your doctor as soon as possible as it could also be a sign of Typhoid that is currently on a rise in the Central/Eastern Division.
The Health Ministry Spokesperson, Iliesa Tora said people should not get careless about their health and take heed of the advice giving by the Ministry to avoid getting sick.
He said they are concerned that Typhoid patients are mainly from the rural areas and it is believed it is due to contaminated water.
Tora said not washing hands properly after gardening or visiting the toilet, not cooking or keeping food hygienically, not washing vegetables properly and not drinking boiled water is the main reasons for getting Typhoid.
