Two 18 year old youths are in police custody after they were found in possession of dried leaves believed to be marijuana at Keyasi, yesterday afternoon.
The two were traveling in the bus heading to Sigatoka town when a police officer who was also in the same bus saw the two acting suspiciously. He stopped the bus and conducted a search on both the suspects and found the dried leaves inside a bag.
In another incident, a 31 year old man is in custody after he was found in possession of dried leaves believed to be marijuana in Keyasi again, yesterday morning.
The man was arrested after officers at Navosa Police Station received information from members of the public that the suspect and an accomplice were acting suspiciously in the area.
A team of police officers responded and managed to arrest the suspect and recovered the dried leaves inside a bag while his accomplice managed to escape.
