Two people jointly charged with intent to cause grievous bodily harm are expected to appear in Nadi Court tomorrow.
It is alleged that a 42 year old and his 18 year old son of Votualevu Nadi struck a 27 year old with a cane knife.
The victim had allegedly thrown stones at the suspects van and damaged the side glass and windscreen after which the suspects retaliated and chased the victim on foot before striking with the cane knife after which he slipped and fell.
The victim received injuries to his face and head and is admitted in the Nadi hospital.
The incident allegedly took place yesterday afternoon.
