Levuka Police have taken in two people aged 19 and 13 years old for questioning in relation to the death of a 3 month old baby girl last Friday.
Regional Crime Officer Eastern, ASP Aca White said the two were escorted from the Gau Community Post to the Levuka Police station over the weekend.
ASP White said the 34 year old mother was dressing the baby after bathing her when the two who were playing inside the house fell on the baby, allegedly crushing her.
She was rushed to the Health Center, however doctors pronounced her dead upon arrival.
He said they are awaiting the post mortem which is expected to be conducted on Wednesday.
