Two new players are expected to be roped into the National 7s squad for the New Zealand and USA 7s tournament.
Fijivillage has established that Wardens play-maker, Ilai Tinai and forward, Apisai Nayabo were called at the FRU house last week to apply for their Visas for the New Zealand and USA 7s tournament.
Earlier last week, Digicel Fiji 7s coach, Iliesa Tanivula had stated that he will name his team for the next two legs of the IRB 7s series after he returns from the Heineken Hottest 7s in Australia.
Meanwhile, FRU Development Manager, Sale Sorovaki said some players have been eyed by the National selectors during the Uprising Fiji International 7s tournament.
Sorovaki said he will sit with other selectors tomorrow to discuss the performance of some new players who may win a place in the National squad.
Meanwhile, Red Rock put up a brave fight yesterday to come from behind and defeat Army 19 - 15 to claim the Uprising Fiji International Sevens title.
Red Rock also walked away $20,000 richer after winning the final.
