The Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption has this morning obtained an order from the Lautoka Magistrates court to hold the two former executives of Fiji Forest Industries in custody for another 24 hours.

FICAC Spokesperson, Erica Lee has confirmed that FICAC lawyer Vincent Perera made an application before Magistrate Ranga Wimalasena to allow them to hold the former Executives in custody for another 24 hours which was allowed by the court.

Meanwhile, former Fiji Tropik Woods board Chairman was interviewed and released by FICAC officers yesterday afternoon.

Lee said investigation is still continuing and she cannot divulge any information at this stage.

Tropik Wood had earlier confirmed that an official complaint was lodge against the former board members and executives in relation to the sale of the company to only one board member which resulted in a $2.11 million loss.
