Two people are expected to appear in court tomorrow for allegedly assaulting a 49 year old farmer of Rabi on Friday.
The alleged incident took place after the two suspects claimed the victim of practicing witchcraft.
The two confronted the farmer and an argument developed.
They then allegedly assaulted the farmer who sustained serious injuries and is admitted at the Rabi hospital.
Police have called on people not to take law into their own hands and to report to them if they believe or suspect that somebody is engaged in illegal activity.
