Two people have been confirmed to have died due to Leptospirosis in flood affected areas in Nadi.
At a press conference this morning, Permanent Secretary for Health Dr. Sala Saketa revealed that another person is also suspected to have died from leptospirosis and it is believed the three failed to get urgent medical attention.
Dr. Sala confirmed that the three victims were adults and from different areas within Nadi.
Meanwhile, the incidents of water borne diseases are also increasing in the Northern Division.
