Vodafone Fiji 7s team halfback Jerry Tuwai has been working really hard on improving his passing during the off‑season.
Tuwai says when he came into the side he struggled in passing and he has since worked on improving this with coach Ben Ryan.
He says even last season he was facing difficulties.
The 26‑year‑old has also been working hard on his fitness level ahead of the Dubai and Cape Town 7s.
Jerry Tuwai says he will be lifting his game this season.
The Fiji 7s women and men’s teams are currently presenting their I‑Tatau to the President Jioji Konrote.
The team will depart for Dubai at 4.30pm tomorrow.
Fiji will meet Canada in their first pool match of the Dubai 7s at 6pm next Friday.
They will then take on Japan at 9pm next Friday before facing Argentina at 3.28am next Saturday.
South Africa is the defending champions of the Dubai 7s.
