Digicel Fiji Sevens flanker Pio Tuwai is making his first debut at this year’s World Cup in Dubai, and the 24-year-old native from Votua in Ba, is very confident and does not feel any pressure at all.

Pio is a good line-out jumper, and is good in aerial tussle as identified in the last series in the last New Zealand and USA Sevens, and will have stiff competition of making the line-up with Co-captain Semisi Naevo.

Speaking to Fijivillage, Pio said tips from the "Man Mountain" has helped him a lot during their sessions together and will use that to his advantage.

Tuwai, the former son of former rep Gabrieli Naborisi has been a regular feature in the BP Sevens provincial competition for Ba River and the PWD Bure.

He was also part of the Prisons team that won the Marist Sevens in 2008 under the coaching expertise of his father, part of the FSC team that won the Namarai and Nacula Sevens, in 2007 he was part of the Mala Young Boys that won the Vatukaloko Sevens.
