“Changes occur during tournaments like this, but we should not panic”.
That is the confirmation from Digicel Fiji 7s coach Alifereti Dere as he prepares to will leave Fiji today with Aminiasi Nava and Pio Tuwai to join the team in the second leg at the Dubai 7s.
In an interview with Fijivillage, Dere said that the duo will not have any difficulties when joining the team as they have been training together prior to departure.
Meanwhile, assistant coach Etuate Waqa said that the win in Gold Coast is history and they will now focus on Dubai as there is a lot of expectation back home.
Fiji will now prepare for the next leg in Dubai this weekend and they are in Pool A with Argentina, United Arab Emirates and Samoa.
Fiji’s first game is against Argentina at 7:04pm on Friday.
