Grant Water House Group of Companies is happy that the interim government has considered their request, after Cabinet reduced the 25% turnover tax levied on all betting transactions in the 2008 Budget, to 15%.
The amendment was signed by the President Ratu Josefa Iloilo in the Government Gazette for December.
Company's Acting Manager Vijen Sundar said its good news for the company after reading through the Gazette.
The Interim Minister for Finance Mahendra Chaudhry is yet to comment on the matter.
