The Japan National 7s side will use the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s-The Road To Moscow as their build up for the World Cup in Russia and they had some warm up matches with Army and Police yesterday.
Coach Paula Nawalu added that they want to play against world class teams.
Nawalu also said that Namatakula flyer Lote Tuqiri the namesake of the former Wallaby winger will boost the side along with two Tongans and a Maori player.
Japan is pooled with JIL Kurabui, Fiji Bitter Gaunavou and Nabua.
Meanwhile, Setefano Cakau and Jone Vota will play for the Tabadamu side which also includes Neumi Lagilagi, the Wardens winger.
The Marist 7s will be held this Friday and Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
