Lote Tuqiri has now started to make his name in Rugby League, as he scored two tries to help his Wests Tigers beat Jarryd Haynes Paramatta Eels 23-12 last night in the National Rugby League.

But it was Kiwis captain Benji Marshall who defied a rib injury to shine in his Wests Tigers win.

Marshall needed an injection just to play but scored two second half tries and created one of Lote Tuqiri's two four pointers, even kicking a first half field goal.

Tuqiri now scored four tries in the first three matches of his return to league after seven years playing rugby union.

Also in Sydney, the unbeaten St George Illawarra Dragons thrashed North Queensland Cowboys 33 8.
