Fijian Lote Tuqiri yesterday proved why he is still regarded as the best winger in international rugby as he dominated play in his first rugby match since his sacking.

Despite his case being before the Courts, no stress showed on Tuqiri as he set up tries for his West Harbour side as they narrowly went down to Warringnah 23-16.

Speaking after the game, Tuqiri said there was nothing better than rugby to keep his mind off the looming Court battle.

Tuqiri had his $1.2 million a year contract with the Australian Rugby Union torn up in July.
