Former Wallaby winger, Lote Tuqiri is looking forward to re-inventing himself in Europe after making a Heineken Cup debut for the Leicester Tigers this morning.

The dual rugby and league test international, who won 67 caps for Australia, has so far had a quite introduction to the Northern Hemisphere, but is looking forward to stepping onto his biggest stage in Europe.

Tuqiri attracted widespread attention when kicked out of Australian and Southern Hemisphere rugby when his ARU contract was torn up earlier this year and despite rumours that the well regarded three quarter could move to league, he has begun a new chapter, signing with the current English club champions.

Tuqiri said, he will try to prove the doubters wrong and prove to himself that he can still play at the highest level.
