Australia wing Lote Tuqiri remains on track for the Wallabies opening Tri Nations clash against South Africa in Perth on July 19 after injuring his knee in the Test series against France.

The Waratahs star was forced to miss the second international in Brisbane last weekend, but appeared untroubled throughout the first full session back with the Wallabies squad yesterday.

The electrifying winger looks set to make a full recovery and get back in the Test saddle following the unexpected knock that could have kept him out for longer.

Tuqiri is hoping for a full recovery by this weekend because he really wants to take the field against the Springboks next week.
