Fiji's top weightlifter Manueli Tulo has won a gold medal at the Arafura Games.

Tulo in fact won 6 gold medals for lifting 219kg in the same event but on the medal tally it is counted as one.

He won Gold medals in the Oceania Men's Championship, Oceania Junior Medalist, South Pacific Champions, South Pacific Junior Championship, Arafura Men's Open Championship and Arafura Junior Championship.

Team Fiji now has 2 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze.

Meanwhile, another weightlifter Joe Vueti will be competing today in the 77kg category.
