Fiji's Golden boy, Manueli Tulo will not be participating at the JR White Battle of the Capitals Challenge this Friday.
The Challenge is being used by Weightlifting Fiji to identify lifters for the the Pacific Games next year.
National Coach, Joe Vueti said at the moment, Tulo is away at another meet but he is confident that there will be stiff competition amongst the local lifters.
The competition is a Head-to Head competition between the athletes who are based in Levuka against the athletes who are based in Suva.
The competition starts this Friday at 2pm at the Hyundai Fitness Centre.
