After pulling out of the Junior World Championships due to financial constraints, Fiji weightlifting wonder boy Manueli Tulo has promised to win a gold medal for Fiji at the Pacific Mini Games and the Commonwealth Championship in Malaysia.
The 18 year old who is currently in the country awaiting his visa approval to continue his training in New Caledonia, said he has been given the green light by Fiji Weightlifting and has already set his eyes on bagging 2 gold medals.
The Pacific Mini Games will be held on September 21 to October 2 in the Cook Islands while the Commonwealth Championships will be held from October 18-23 in Malaysia.
