Fiji's weightlifter Manueli Tulo finished 6th out of 7 last night in the men's 56kg snatch and clean and jerk in group A.
Tulo lifted 105kg in the snatch, 128kg in the clean and jerk with a total lift of 233kg. The Olympic record is 305kg.
Meanwhile swimmer Matelita Buadromo finished third in heat three of the women's 100 metres breaststroke last night.
In the medal tally China is leading with 6 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze, USA is second with 2 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze while Italy is third with 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze.
