Weightlifters Manueli Tulo and Maria Liku have missed out on automatic qualification to the London Olympics next year.

Tulo finised 21st while Liku finished 25th at the World Weightlifting championship in France.

Tulo missed his first lift of 101kg in the snatch that put extra pressure on him and he also missed out on the final clean and jerk of 137kg.

Fiji still has a chance to qualify for the London Olympics if the two weight-lifters do well in the team competition in the Oceania Championship next year in Samoa.
