Kiwis and Warriors fullback Roger Tuivasa‑Sheck is one of three nominees for rugby league's world Player of the Year award.

Tuivasa‑Sheck is up against Dally M medal winner and two‑time Golden Boot recipient Jonathan Thurston and England fullback Zak Hardaker.

The Golden Boot award, won by the Warriors Shaun Johnson last year, is handed out annually by the Rugby League World magazine at the end of the year.

Tuivasa‑Sheck helped the Sydney Roosters to the NRL minor premiership and he was named the Dally M fullback of the year.

The winner will be announced later this month.
