Former AFL CEO Ratu Sakiusa Tuisolia charged with 22 counts of abuse of office and 22 counts of false pretence by FICAC, has applied for the second time to travel overseas.

His lawyer Devinesh Sharma revealed they had filed an application for overseas travel for work purposes as Tuisolia was earlier ordered to surrender all his travel documents to court.

Justice Salesi Temo adjourned the case for it to be heard by Justice Daniel Gounder, who has been presiding over the case but he was in another court in Labasa today.

Tuisolia applied earlier last month for travel overseas, however this was refused by Justice Gounder.

Bail has been extended while the decision on his travel is expected to be heard when the case is called next Tuesday.
