Tuisolia apologizes for swearing at FICAC officials
FICAC lawyer Aca Rayawa intended to make another application in court this morning to ensure that Tuisolia, whose current bail condition does not restrict him from travelling overseas, does not leave the country until August 3rd when Judge Justice Daniel Gounder will make a ruling on the matter.
However, Judge Gounder suggested that Tuisolia give a written undertaking that he will not leave Fiji and he agreed to do so.
Rayawa also complained to Judge Gounder that Tuisolia swore at FICAC investigators when they approached him to hand over certain documents.
Rayawa called on the judge to ask Tuisolia to refrain from using such language against FICAC officials.
Tuisolia's lawyer Davinesh Sharma told the court that his client lost his cool and he apologized for his actions and it will not happen again.
FICAC has made an application that Tuisolia's bail conditions be varied to restrict his overseas travel as he is allegedly seeking employment abroad.
