Tension is high amongst some soccer districts as Fiji's soccer season kicks off this Sunday with the Champions league.
Lautoka soccer's two suspended defenders, Ilaitia Tuilau and Samuela Kautoga have been in the spotlight for some time after the Rewa and Labasa soccer association showed interest in signing the duo for this season.
Speaking exclusively to Fijivillage today, Tuilau stated that he intended to play for Labasa this year however Lautoka soccer has not been acting in good faith to provide him with his release.
Tuilau said along with him, Kautoga also wants to play for the Babasiga Lions this year and only time will tell now when they will get their release.
The Lautoka soccer association has put a $33,000 tag for the release of the two players.
Meanwhile, the Champions League kicks of this Sunday at Ba's Govind Park with the first match at 2pm between Lautoka and Rewa followed by Ba and Navua match at 4pm.
