A mismatch, but a success nonetheless: David Tua's 3 minutes 17 seconds destruction of Shane Cameroon, seems to be going down well with boxing fans.

Boxing commentator Sir Bob Jones said he had doubts enough seats would be sold to make it viable or that people would be prepared to pay to see it on TV.

But Sir Bob said the fight and the promotion of it both exceeded his expectations. Sir Bob said Tua was as good as he was ten years ago, and in that kind of form Cameron was never going to be a match for him.

SKY TV in New Zealand will not release figures for the number of pay-per-viewers or how much revenue was generated. All the company will say is the event was a phenomenal success.
