A 23-year old man lost his life in a tragic accident in Koroboya in Ba.
Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says the man who resides in FSC Ba was driving a truck carrying pine logs when he allegedly lost control of the vehicle and veered off the road.
The binding chain broke causing the pine logs to fall off the truck.
Naisoro says the victim also jumped off the truck when the pine logs fell on him.
The man died at the scene.
Naisoro says the victim did not have the prescribed driver’s license to drive heavy goods vehicle.
She adds the investigators are looking into the issue of the employer’s responsibility in allowing the victim to drive the heavy goods truck when he did not have the prescribed license.
