People around the country will experience rain over the weekend as a trough of low pressure lies over the group.
The current strong wind and rain currently being experienced is due a squalor moving over the northern part of the groups.
The weather office said that the weather is expected to clear up over the weekend as a ridge of high pressure lying towards the Wes of the Fiji Islands is expected to push the trough away.
People living in the Yasawas, Savusavu, Tavuni and Labasa are advised that there may be strong winds and rain throughout the weekend.
