Investigation has now started into the alleged gruesome murder of a mother and her two children which has left a community in Vatuwaqa in shock.
The alleged incident took place around one this morning and it is alleged that the mother believed to be in her late 20's and her two children who were less than 10 years of age were murdered by the husband in Nanuku settlement.
Fijivillage visited the scene this morning and was informed by the neighbors that the couple and their two children moved in to the neighborhood a year ago and were renting in a flat.
The owner raised the alarm with the police.
The husband is admitted at the CWM hospital in a critical condition who allegedly tried to hurt himself.
