Interim Attorney General, Aiyaz Saiyad Khaiyum said the Tribunal to conduct investigations against the suspended Chief Justice, Daniel Fatiaki is expected to commence its work in the next few weeks.
At a press conference this afternoon, Saiyad Khaiyum said they are confident the nominations will be endorsed by the President.
Meanwhile Khaiyum said the proceedings will be held in an Independent fashion.
Yesterday Personal Secretary to President's office Rupeni Nacewa said the President Ratu Josefa Iloilo received 3 names from the Interim Attorney General.
Two months ago, the President had given Saiyad Khaiyum 60 days to come up with names because he was not satisfied with the names submitted earlier.
