South Africa coach Paul Treu is wary of New Zealand who beat his side 10-5 in the England Sevens semifinals last weekend but knows his side only requires a single point to clinch the IRB World Sevens Series title.

Treu is disappointed that they could not clinch the series in London and feels that they threw away their chances in the way they played against New Zealand.

Treu said they only need one more point to clinch the 2008/2009 Series and believes that he has the players to do that despite releasing star player Robert Ebersohn, who will lead the South African Under 20 side to the World Junior Championship.

South Africa plays the opening match at the Scotland Sevens tournament, starting tomorrow at 8:35pm.
