Residents in the West and parts of the Northern Division this morning had an early morning shock when they felt a tremor at around 9.20am.
The metrology Department has confirmed that they also received reports of tremor being felt in parts of Nadi and Lautoka and Yasawa group.
Police in Namaka also confirmed receiving reports of an earthquake this morning at around 9.20am.
However there were no reports of any damages.
The Mineral Resources Department has confirmed that Earthquake read 4.5 on the rictar scale.
According to the Department, the tremor was located 50km to the North of Yasawa-I-Rara.
