Over 500 travel agents from across Australia are expected to converge in Sigatoka tomorrow for an International Travel Agents' Exhibition at the Shangri La Fijian Resort.
Australian based company, Travel Scene American Express, the organizers of the event, which will see close to $2M injected into the country as a result of the event, said the exhibition is targeted at marketing Fiji.
Chief Executive Mike Thompson said the event is being held in order for the travel agents to get a first hand taste of local products and gauge the potential Fiji has as a tourist market.
The exhibition will be held at the Shangri La Fijian Resort and will be running for 3 days straight.
