The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty Against Animals is hopeful to reduce the number of stray dogs now that the Nasinu Town Council has also come on board and started a Trapping Campaign.
Society representative Sarita Dutt said that they have always worked with the Suva City Council and continue to do so and now they will be working with the Nasinu Town Council.
On concerns raised by some people that some stray dogs carry illness, Dutt said that people should also come forward and assist the SPCA.
