The Transport Workers Union will soon meet with the executives of the Aviation and Shipping Industry to demand a pay rise for its members.
General Secretary, Kamlesh Kumar said the union has over one thousand members around the country who are poorly paid by their employers.
Meanwhile, the Annual General Meeting of the National Union of Municipal Workers will be held tomorrow where members' pay and the increasing inflation rate will be discussed.
General Secretary, Kamal Iyer said the inflation rate has increased to over 7% which is affecting the union members.
