Any complaints received from the public on any particular sea vessel will not receive any marine clearance.

The Ministry of Transport and Works is clarifying its stand with regards to the safety of passengers and their grievances.

Spokeswoman for the Ministry, Sainiana Waqaibete said following the docking of the Vessel Sandy two weeks ago, the Ministry along with FIMSA will be relooking at the various certificates given out to vessel owners to ensure the safety of the public is not at risk.
