Motorists travelling to Suva this morning have been asked to exercise a little more patience as there will be some disruptions to traffic at the Laqere Bridge and the road leading to Suva.
The $7.6 million dollar project which is expected to end late next month is undergoing some further widening as the Public Works Department (PWD) is widening the road into 4 lanes.
Spokesperson for the Department Sainiana Waqanibete said the widening will happen during rush hour and Police will be available to assist motorists.
Road works are currently being done between 9am to 4pm so that the Ministry will not incur more expenses.
