Business and trade between Fiji and Australia and New Zealand continues without any problems despite the situation between Fiji and the two countries.
Fiji Chamber of Commerce President Swani Maharaj said they are in constant contact with the Joint Business councils and while they are concerned over the standoff, businesses they say are not deterred when it comes to trade and business.
This comes as the Australia Fiji Business Council called on the Australian government to change its approach towards the Fiji government.
Council President Brian Anderson said the council opposes Australia's travel ban policy on Fiji as it is not achieving anything good.
Anderson said business continues in Fiji and Australia should see what it can do to help Fiji.
