Special Administrator for Suva/Lami Town, Marica Hallacy said the essential trade between China and Fiji will continue to grow and contribute to mutual friendship between both countries.
While speaking during the Chinese New Year celebrations Hallacy said the common link of respect for ancestors is fundamental in both cultures.
She said Chinese Entrepreneurs’ sweat and toil have contributed to the Fiji and opportunities for engaging with Government of People=s Republic of China with the Chinese business community in further major development projects
Hallacy adds in remembrance of the Chinese pioneers who ventured throughout the Fiji Islands their Legacy Lives On and the respect and further accomplishments are strongly rooted in the Fijian development particularly in the rural areas.
