Nasinu Town Council special administrator Meli Bogileka and Council chief executive Satish Kumar remain suspended, pending investigations.
Local Government permanent secretary Ram Chandar said they are awaiting the investigation report which will be given to the minister once it is completed.
He could not reveal the allegations against the two.
Meanwhile, the ministry is still trying to find a suitable person to replace, Suva administrator Vijendra Prakash whose contract has been terminated.
