Despite the negative reports by the overseas media on Fiji, tourists are still coming in huge numbers to enjoy their holiday.
Outrigger on the Lagoon Resort General Manager, Peter Hopgood said their hotel has had 95% occupancy in the last three months.
Hopgood added he is happy as reports have been proved wrong after they achieved their target in the last nine months.
Meanwhile, larger hotels and resorts had earlier told Legend Fm news that occupancy levels are between 80 to 90 percent and forward bookings also look good going into the festive season and the New Year.
