Two major tourism projects are expected to start in the Northern Division soon with the Fiji Trade and Investment Bureau (FTIB) now liaising with investors to finalize details of the project.
The two projects include the construction of a hotel and a golf course in Natewa Bay and the development of a resort in Savasi Island.
FTIB Chairman Francis Narayan confirmed the investors are coming to Fiji next week and they are expected to reach an agreement then.
Narayan said these two projects will create a number of employment opportunities in the North and will help bring relief to the Northern economy.
