The Tourist town which used to be a hive of activity is today quiet following the devastating flood that has hit Nadi town.

Town Clerk Robin Ali said shops will remain closed as shop owners and those with their own generators are pumping water from nearby rivers.

Ali added that the council will start their cleaning up from this hour.
