A 43 year old tourist from the Republic of Cameroon will appear in Magistrates Court this afternoon after he was charged with allegedly printing and circulating counterfeit US currency.
Police raided the suspects’ accommodation at a hotel in Suva on Tuesday night and seized a number of notes and items.
The tourist is believed to have arrived in Fiji late last month and is alleged to be currently overstaying in the country.
