While the tourism numbers are expected to drop after the flash floods around the country, one hotel operator remains optimistic that it will pick up quickly.
Vijay Prasad the General Manager for Hotel San Bruno located at the Nadi back Road said the recent floods resulted in the drop in their bookings, and have had zero occupancy as of last week.
However Prasad said some of the tourists who were staying at the hotel were very understanding and sympathetic to Fiji's situation.
