The Tourism Fiji has welcomed the move by DISMAC and the Commissioner Western to announce that all resorts and hotels in the Western Division, are removed from the natural disaster areas.
Chairman, Patrick Wong said that the move is a good one as they say the Tourism Industry is going through a very challenging time adding the removal will see their 2009 Plan, off to a good start.
Patrick Wong said that this is a very good move for these hotels.
The Interim Tourism Minister, Aiyaz Sayed Kahiyum had also mentioned that this move would be good for the industry as it is struggling to get back on its on its feet.
